3rd Friday of Advent

The days are surely coming, says the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land (Jeremiah 23:5)

You, O God, are the fountain of justice and mercy. Fill us with your wisdom and compassion. Make us senitive and discerning, that we might do our part to fight injustice, poverty, and misery in the world.
