Rest In Peace Fr. Martins

Fr. John Martins, who served the Diocese of Fall River as a priest for 53 years died on Friday, September 26th. He was pastor of my home parish from 1995-2007. I will ever be grateful to him for his great example and service that he gave to us at St. Anthony of Padua Parish. I'm especially grateful for the wonderful liturgy and reception that he gave to the celebration of my First Mass. Fr. Martins, may the angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome you and take you to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem.
