COUNTDOWN

Well, a week from today on the feast of the Exultation of the Holy Cross, the Motu Proprio granting more access to the "Mass of John XIII" will be implenmented and throughtout all churches in the west will be given the opportunity to celebrate the ancient liturgy of Trent simply known as the "Tridentine Mass." It should be interesting what will occur on that day. I know that EWTN will be televising the ancient rite on that day and here in my own diocese there is a church in Nashua that will be offering the Tridentine Mass on Sunday afternoons. Until then "Dominus vobiscum...."

Are you going to be learning to celebrate the Tridentine Mass, Father?

No I haven't but if I do find a class on how to learn to say the Tridentine Mass I will be more than willing to attend. Will there be any parishes in your neck of the woods offering it?
