My World remembers and prayers for those victims that have lost thier lives in that horrific action done to them yesterday in Virigina. Also our prayers goes out to their families and friends. May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.

I'm still in shock. I go to school less than 2 hours from VT and pretty much everyone down here knows someone who goes to Tech and everyone is just... in awe. One of the older students in my class yesterday was talking about how she has a daughter in college and she how shouldn't couldn't imagine getting that call, and 27 (at the time) mothers were getting that call. It really makes you think how easily life can be taken away. All it takes is one guy who decides he wants to take it, and there's nothing you can do. This is the first time I've felt unsafe sitting in my dorm room or in class. It's scary and I'm sure everyone's scared right now. The victims, their families, and the entire nation are in my prayers. I think we all need help to get through this scary time, and I think it's gonna take awhile before any of us really feel safe again. God be with us all.
