THE VIEW FROM MY WORLD

Do you wonder why people are superstitious? That's what I was asking myself this week when everyone was going crazy about last Tuesday's date 6-6-06. There were mothers who even had c-sections the day before because they didn't want their children to have the stigma of being born on 6-6-06. We also have things like Friday the 13th, walking under a ladder, avoiding cracks on the sidewalks, the black cat, breaking a mirror and the list goes on and on and on. But my question is if we do walk under a ladder, or break mirror, or the other things that I mentioned will it bring bad luck? My answer to the question is "NO!" Let us break away from being superstitious and believe in God who is all loving and merciful and is always with us.
